Royal Clipper is the only cruise ship of Star Clippers scheduled to berth a Civitavecchia Port this year.
Star Clippers name comes from its first cruising sailboat, which every winter ensures the company’s journeys to ports in Malaysia and Thailand.
With the acquisition of the second ship, the Star Flyer, the offer of Star Clippers cruises has increased in quantity and variety. Cruises sailing ship Star Clippers are no longer limited to Malaysia or Thailand, but extend to South America, the Caribbean, and to all the most famous ports in the Mediterranean, like Civitavecchia Port of Rome.
During the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, the Star Flyer was used as a “floating hotel“.
Apart from these first two ships, the company also acquired the cruise sailing ship Royal Clipper, able to accommodate more than 225 passengers . Aboard Star Clippers, tourists can enjoy spacious cabins, three outdoor swimming pools and other amenities on board.
